Download our free rating of fatigue chart for use in rating your own performance in relation to effort, sensation, and feel. This chart is particularly important if you are looking to measure your baseline fitness and want to record changes in fitness based on perceptual changes. It also helps you ensure you are not inducing overtraining, due to over reaching in your daily sessions. 

 

Combine our RPE chart with the ROF chart to test the following 

4-minute stages cycling or running, adding 1 km.h or 25 W each stage. 

After each stage rate your perceived effort, heart rate and power output. 

Assess your data for deflections in RPE, heart rate and ratings of fatigue to estimate your current fitness/training zones.
